i nt opening celebration for my birthday anymore =(

initially mum say celebration dun mixed with relatives. so i set another date for them. relatives all not supportive. so sad. forget it. BUT furthermore, i told them is not my celebration. treat it as a gathering. and i paying hoi shing's condo for using facilities. and paying for all the food. end up they all so ya ya. this cannot, that cannot. dun wan this, dun wan that. cannot this date, cannot that date. sicked. upset. ma fan. for wad i wanna spend $$ to invite them to celebrate with me.

bf that side too.. hs's parents say wanna treat me dinner next week to celebrate chinese birthday. den i happy for awhile. tot they remember my prescence. BUT end up i realised i only subsitute. coz his both sisters nt in sg. went to hk. so the parents lonely, wanna find ppl to accompany them eat. accompany them drink tea. confirm when the sisters back, kick me to the side. i nt working. not much $$. but when his mum told me the bag i bought for her is torn, i immediately go buy another one for her. actually it is ok. but when i noe i am substitute. i felt that y i waste $$. sian.

for friends, haiz. 8899 ppl nvm de la. u all understand. plus PL birthday celebration is so near to mine. dun need to celebrate mine also ok. coz we will still meet one another.. only for poly friends, they expect me to treat them. coz their tradition is 21st must treat... will see how..

hi girls.

a week ago.me and my another girlfriend went to the 'zhou's kitchen' at far east square. 'zhou's kitchen' is a chinese restaurant which is under tung lok group.so we made a reservation for the high tea buffet.and we ate a lot.we actually ordered three rounds of food and each time, the table is filled with all the dishes.so u can imagine roughly how much we ate right.i think it will really scare the guys off when they see the amount of food on the table when there were actually only two girls.haha.so below are the photos.



these are the prawn crackers that were given to us before we start ordering our food



fried wanton with sweet and sour sauce



pan fried dried shrimp rice flour roll with x.o sauce



pork ribs with fruity sauce and sesame.it tastes exactly like sweet and sour pork.



deep fried chicken with prawn paste sauce



drunken chicken.i was quite surprised when this dish arrived.because i did not expect it to be small slices.



salad prawns with mixed fruits.we ate up all the prawns and left the fruits as we wanted to leave some space in our stomach for the next dish.



i got no idea what is this but i only remember it is too salty for me.maybe pl will like it? haha.



i forgot what is the name of this dish too.i don't really like it as there is too much vegetable inside.



chicken claws with chilli sauce



steamed pork ribs with black bean sauce.the meat is really very soft and you won't have a hard time to bite it.



this is one of my favourite.prawn dumpling.don't they look cute.



siew mai.



i love these mini egg tarts. =)



kai lan with sambal belachan.is crunchy that i can't stop eating it.and is not too soggy.



these balls contain peanuts.



'xing hua' wanton soup.it tastes much much better than those wanton soup that we drink outside.



spiced beef shank



these chau siew bao are really soft.



custard buns



chilled mango pudding.you can actually taste the mango that the chef used is really fresh and the dessert is not diluted with water.



i love this sesame paste as well.is super good.not too thick.just nice and it suits my taste perfectly.the spoon is quite small as compared to the normal spoon that we always use.



rice dumpling with sesame filling.outside is covered with peanut.



a table full of food.yummy.

overall.the food is perfect.i definitely don't mind going back again.i love buffet but it makes me fat.time to hit the gym again.

Celebration or not??? ...

hey PL... i saw ur important post la. hahaha. So u decided to open BBQ instead? who have u invited??? need my help say hor.. hahaha

Anyway. when is ur bridging exams? over by then?

Oh yah, i was just about to ask u all for comments too. actually hoi shing rushed me alot of times le. to make decision to have any celebration or not.. hmm.. i confirm not opening bbq. coz i think no one will have the time to go cook the food.. maybe rent the function room at HS condo there. ask u all go, we can swim, sauna first if u all wan. den i was thinking maybe i cater food, invite my poly friends, secondary sch, colleagues etc.. den we all can eat together. but i can't find any good and cheap caterer. U all have any ideas? intro?? for party food, i found le.. for filling ones, i may ask my mum to prepare bee hoon or sth.. only wanna cater finger food.. coz went to so many ppl celebration, i think finger food better.

How abt that? hmm.. or should i dun have any celebrations.. coz maybe no one will come ?? dunno. so undecisive.. hahaha..
